History

Since 1965, Glenroy has specialized in high-quality, customized flexible packaging solutions — including rollstock (for stick packs, sachets, lidding film, packets, etc.), and stand-up pouches. Look to Glenroy to provide accessible technical expertise, unsurpassed service, reliability, and trusted flexible packaging products you can depend on.

In the summer of 1965, Herb, Ruth, and Roy Jablonka founded Glenroy, Inc. with a mission of providing the highest quality of flexible packaging in the industry. The company was named after Herb and Ruth’s two sons, Glen and Roy.

Over time, Glenroy developed a reputation for providing flexible packaging material that was consistently dependable and high in quality. Positive word-of-mouth led to a loyal following of customers and steady growth.

“The world is a very different place than it was the summer of 1965 when Dad, Mom, and I opened the doors of our first facility. What hasn’t changed is the drive to always make a difference for our customers.”

Co-Founder, – Roy Jablonka

Today, Glenroy is proud to remain a family-owned company, making it unique in an industry now characterized by mergers and massive corporations. Now under the third generation of family ownership, Glenroy continues to grow with its customers around the globe.

Glenroy is committed to our customers’ success by focusing on the quality of our employees, services, and products. We aspire to be the first-choice partner of value added flexible packaging solutions to the marketplace.

Although the flexible packaging industry has changed dramatically since Herb, Ruth, and Roy opened Glenroy’s doors in 1965, the company’s mission remains the same.

Customer-focused Innovation

We believe in continually investing in innovation and expanding capabilities to be a first-choice supplier of flexible packaging.

In 2015, Glenroy acquired the pouch converting operations of PF Flexibles—formerly known as Pouch Converting Technologies Inc. or PCTI. This acquisition provided Glenroy Inc. with a wide range of pouch converting equipment, and allows Glenroy to now offer some of the most extensive in-house premade pouch capabilities in the industry. This pouch converting equipment has produced award-winning stand-up pouches.

In 2013, Glenroy produced the first stand-up oil pouch in the U.S. power sports industry.

Glenroy’s high quality and exceptional service have resulted in over 100 flexible packaging awards.
