Glenroy Inc. Promotes Van Eimeren To Western Regional Manager

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., —Glenroy, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Geoff Van Eimeren to western regional manager. Van Eimeren will be primarily responsible for servicing customers on the West Coast.

Van Eimeren brings 25 years of flexible packaging experience to his new position. Van Eimeren joined the manufacturing personnel of Glenroy in 1997 and quickly rose to positions in graphics and account management. Van Eimeren came to Glenroy from Fredman Bag Company where he served as a graphic arts coordinator. …Read More

Glenroy, Inc. Promotes Weiss To Account Manager

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. —Glenroy, Inc. has promoted Kimberly Weiss to the position of account manager within Glenroy’s service team. In her new position Weiss will have the primary responsibility for maintaining and developing strong customer relationships.

Weiss joined Glenroy in the spring of 2006 as a customer service representative. Prior to joining Glenroy, Weiss obtained her Communications degree at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. …Read More

Glenroy Inc. Wins Gold in Excellence in Flexography Awards

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., —Glenroy, Inc. won a gold award in the 2009 Excellence in Flexography Awards Competition hosted by the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA). The award was announced on May 3rd at the 2009 FFTA Annual Forum in Orlando, FL.

Glenroy was one of 65 companies recognized for its impressive level of technical achievement in flexographic printing. Glenroy received a gold award in the category of Wide Web, Line, Film for its Alberto-Culver V05® Hot Protein™ job. Glenroy was able to achieve metallic coloring using the foil in the substrate, without metallic inks. …Read More

Glenroy Inc. Receives Four Graphics Excellence Awards From Printing Industries of Wisconsin

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., —Glenroy, Inc. received four Graphics Excellence Awards in the annual statewide printing competition hosted by Printing Industries of Wisconsin, the state’s trade association for printing and the graphic arts.

Competing against nearly 900 entries from printing and graphic arts firms from Wisconsin, Glenroy received a “Best of Category” award and three “Awards of Excellence.” The awards were formally announced at the PIW Awards Gala held on May 12, 2009 in Milwaukee, WI. …Read More

Glenroy, Inc. Hires Murtagh as Southeast Regional Sales Manager

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., —Glenroy, Inc. has named Ken Murtagh as its new Southeast regional sales manager.

Murtagh comes to Glenroy, Inc., from NOVAPAK Corporation, where he served as the Southeast regional sales manager. He previously served as regional vice president for Berlin Packaging, and vice president of sales for Atlantis Plastics. Murtagh also worked in sales for 16 years at the Fasson Division of Avery Dennison, most recently as the national sales manager. …Read More

Glenroy Inc. Hires Geniesse as Continuous Improvement Coordinator

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., —Glenroy, Inc. announced the hiring of Mary Geniesse as continuous improvement coordinator. Geniesse will be leading process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies within Glenroy.

Geniesse brings two years of continuous improvement experience to Glenroy. Prior to joining Glenroy, Geniesse worked for Charter Steel where she served as inside sales manager and continuous improvement leader. MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis.,—Glenroy, Inc. is pleased to introduce Great White™ flexible packaging film, the newest option for obtaining true color in packaging.

Great White’s distinctive film structure hides the foil layer responsible for the graying effect seen in standard packaging film. By hiding the foil layer, Great White achieves a 91 brightness level, a significant difference from standard packaging film with a brightness level of only 76. …Read More
