The Challenge

APC is the world's leading producer of animal health and nutrition products derived from spray-dried functional proteins. The company's line of calf care products features unique, proprietary technology proven to support normal immune function and performance in a number of species. In 2009, Beth Saxton, Marketing Manager of APC, began the process of updating the packaging of the company's innovative calf productAcquire® colostrum replacer and Lifeline® colostrum supplements. She needed to source cost-effective packaging that would convey the high quality of the products, offer convenience for retail customers, seize attention on retail shelves, and provide an excellent moisture barrier.

The Results

With assistance from Glenroy, Inc., Beth was able to create dramatically improve packaging for these products, while simultaneously reducing packaging costs. Since the new packaging has hit retail shelves, APC has experienced a sharp increase in consumer recognition of both Acquire® and Lifeline®, driving sales of both products.
